Patronage & Legitimation Strategies

This research cluster analyses the special conditions guiding Tibetan, Chinese, Khotanese, Tanguts, and Uyghurs as patrons, both individually and ensemble. A discussion of the religious sentiments and characteristics of the representatives of these cultural groups peoples is given with focus on their functioning in the same or adjacent localities.
