BuddhistRoad member Yukiyo Kasai receives Wilhelm Hollenberg Preis der Gesellschaft der Freunde (GdF)
Yukiyo Kasai, researcher in the ERC-funded project BuddhistRoad, who received her habilitation by the Faculty of East Asian Studies at Ruhr-Universität Bochum on 26 July 2021, received the prestigious Wilhelm Hollenberg Preis der Freunde (GdF) on 07 July 2022. In her habilitation thesis, Yukiyo Kasai deals with religions in pre-Islamic Uyghur society (8th-14th century), encompassing both philological and historical analysis with regard to the history of religions.
